A Hazlehurst 17-year-old is behind bars for allegedly shooting and killing a man at a local basketball court.

According to the Hazlehurst Police Department, 23-year-old Jaylen Larry was struck by multiple bullets Monday around 7 p.m. Larry was transported from the Hazlehurst Softball Complex basketball court to the Copiah County Medical Center, where he succumbed to his injuries.
