Europa League: Dynamo Kyiv vs Lazio – probable line-ups

Marco Baroni will rotate his Lazio squad as the Biancocelesti make their 2024-25 Europa League debut against Dynamo Kyiv this evening.

It kicks off at 21:00 CET (19:00 GMT) at the neutral venue Volksparkstadion in Hamburg.

Taty Castellanos returns from an injury for Lazio, but is not expected to start. Elseid Hysaj and Gaetano Castrovilli have been left out of Lazio’s UEFA squad, while Samuel Gigot is the only injured player for the Bianconcelesti.

Coach Baroni makes his debut in a European competition at 61 and is expected to change eight starters after a 2-1 loss to Fiorentina on Sunday.

Alessio Romagnoli returns to the starting XI, joining Patric in central defence, while Luca Pellegrini replaces Nuno Tavares as a left-back.

Matias Vecino and Nicolò Rovella will start in the middle of the park, with Tijjani Noslin and Pedro getting the nod up front. The ex-Chelsea and Barcelona star is expected to play as a false nine.
