Kings Announce Training Camp Cuts

Date:

The Los Angeles Kings have announced five training camp cuts.

Now that NHL training camps are entering their second week, NHL teams typically send the CHL players who aren’t making the team back to their respective junior teams.

The Kings joined the list of teams that have done this by sending the following four players back to their junior teams.

– Liam Greentree – Windsor, (OHL

– Carter George – Owen Sound, (OHL)

– Matthew Mania – Flint, (OHL)

– Jared Woolley – London, (OHL)

Greentree was the Kings’ first round pick in this year’s NHL draft. This was expected based on the projected roster to start the season. However, he is a name all Kings fans will want to watch this season.

The organization also released forward Arvid Caderoth from his ATO. Which brings their updated training camp roster down to 58 players, which includes 34 forwards; 19 defensemen; five goaltenders.
