As reported earlier, Ronnie Attard, Louie Belpedio, and Rhett Gardner have been placed on waivers. If they clear, they will join the Flyers’ American Hockey League (AHL) affiliate, the Lehigh Valley Phantoms.
JR Avon, Elliot Desnoyers, and Massimo Rizzo have all been assigned to Phantoms. In addition, Brendan Furry and Jacob Gaucher, who are on AHL deals, have been returned to the Phantoms.
With the regular-season rapidly approaching, the Flyers still have several more cuts to make before they have their official roster for the campaign. We will need to wait and see which players end up being reassigned next.
