The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office said that shots were fired at 3:30 a.m. at Range 231 N., 3250 Wetumpka Highway. The shooting victim, identified as Cardell O’Brian, 27, was transported to Baptist South Hospital before the sheriff’s deputies arrived and was later pronounced dead, MCSO confirmed.
