COLOMBO (Web Desk) – The Sri Lankan Cricket Board has officially appointed Sanath Jayasuriya as the full-time head coach of the team for one year.

According to Sri Lankan media, Jayasuriya has been serving as the interim head coach, and his new term would begin following the Test series against New Zealand.

Notably, under Jayasuriya’s coaching, the Sri Lankan team had achieved victories against India in a one-day series and England in a Test match on their home ground.
