Golf: 3 advance in girls state qualifier

Oct. 3—LITCHIFIELD — Camden Hills’ Lila Dailey shot an 87 to lead all competitors at the Central Maine Girls Golf Qualifier on Thursday at The Meadows Golf Club.

Dailey, Skowhegan’s Lydia Jones and Mt. Abram’s Laurel Sleeper all qualified for the state championships on Oct. 11 (Class A) and 12 (Class B and C). Jones and Sleeper both shot a 93.

Morse’s Irelyn Lathan (101), Skowhegan’s Mya Atwood (102) and Morse’s Alison Mitchell (104) also participated.
