ST. LOUIS COUNTY, Mo. – A Ladue woman has been ordered to appear in court next month after allegedly hitting her brother with her car.
According to the Ladue Police Department’s probable cause statement, the attack happened on Nov. 8, 2023, on Clayton Road.
Police said Valerian Mills followed her brother while he was riding his bicycle and rammed him. The victim took the same route nearly every day, which Mills knew.

Prior to this, Mills’ brother had sent her a text message telling her that she was cut off financially from the family, police said. This decision would cost Mills approximately $40,000 per month.
The victim suffered a concussion, internal bleeding, and several lacerations as a result.
The St. Louis County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office charged Mills with second-degree assault. Mills was given a criminal summons to appear in court on Nov. 26.
