Michigan State basketball celebrates MSU Madness and Izzone Campout Friday night

Date:

EAST LANSING, Mich. (WILX) – A huge crowd turned out at the Breslin Center Friday evening for the annual MSU Basketball Madness event, with the Spartan women’s team and the men’s team being introduced to the fans with animated dances and outfits that got the crowd amped up.

Former MSU players were seen in the stands, and former Detroit Lions great Barry Sanders was on hand.  Barry’s son, Nick Sanders, is a junior guard for the Spartans.

After the event, players mingled with fans and signed autographs before many of those fans went outside to take part in the annual Izzone Campout, where they pitched tents across Munn Field and watched the MSU football game on a huge outdoor screen.
