BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – The Eastern Florida State College women’s basketball team has announced the 2024-25 season schedule.

The Titans, who went 27-5 overall and 21-0 in the conference, advanced to the NJCAA Division I National Tournament for the third straight season.

Eastern Florida State College will open the regular season at home on Saturday, Oct. 26 against DME National. It is the first of 10 home games this season.

In November the team will play in a couple of tournaments around Florida before beginning the conference season on Dec. 2 when they host Daytona State College.

The Titans will compete in the Lady Jets Holiday Classic on Dec. 30-31 at South Georgia Tech before getting back into the conference season on Jan. 4 at Florida Southwestern State College.

Eastern Florida State College will have six straight conference home games in January before finishing the season with five straight road games.

The Titans will play in three preseason Jamborees beginning Sunday.

“Despite returning only four players from last year’s top 10 team, we are far from being out of the race. We’ve retained key experience at the guard position and brough in high-level talent from all around the world, all coming together smoothly,” Eastern Florida State College women’s basketball coach MJ Baker said.

The Titans return guards Ashleigh Battle, E’Zaria Adams and Lynn Rieth as well as forward Silvia Otokhagua from last year’s team that won the conference title.

“Our focus is on improving each day, knowing we face a tough, road-heavy preseason schedule,” Baker said. “I am excited for the challenge as it will prepare us to compete in the toughest region in the country. This team’s versatility and grit will be the foundation of our success.”

The state tournament is scheduled to be from March 12-15 at Northwest Florida State College in Niceville.
