BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Florida Tech men’s basketball head coach Billy Mims has released Florida Tech’s 2024-25 schedule. The Panthers are scheduled to play 29 games, including 15 home games and a 20-game Sunshine State Conference schedule.

The Panthers open their season with the SSC vs SIAC Tipoff Challenge hosted by Rollins in Winter Park, Fla. Tech will take on Edward Waters on Friday, Nov. 8, and then conclude the tournament on Saturday, Nov. 9 when they face off with Spring Hill.

The Panther’s home opener will take place on Saturday, Nov. 23 against SSC foe Saint Leo. Tech will then take on the University of Puerto Rico-Mayaguez in another home matchup on Tuesday, Nov. 26.

Tech will close out November by hosting the Florida Tech Thanksgiving Classic.

The Panthers start the tournament against the University of Puerto Rico-Bayamon on Friday, Nov. 29 and then finish with a game against North Greenville on Saturday, Nov. 30.

December starts with a three-game road trip, beginning in Daytona Beach, Fla. with a conference showdown against Embry-Riddle on Wednesday, Dec. 4.

Then on Thursday, Dec. 5, the Panthers will travel up to Jacksonville, Fla. for a Division I exhibition game against Jacksonville.

The two teams will face off at 7:00 p.m. The road trip concludes on Saturday, Dec. 7 in Lakeland, Fla. with a matchup against Florida Southern at 6:00 p.m.

Tech returns home for another conference matchup with Eckerd on Tuesday, Dec. 17. The Panthers will then host the Florida Tech Winter Classic where they will play Trinity Baptist on Friday, Dec. 20, and Dominican (N.Y.) on Saturday, Dec. 21.

Tech will cap off the 2024 calendar year with another Division 1 exhibition against Florida Gulf Coast on Sunday, Dec. 22 at 1:00 p.m.

In the first seven games of 2025, the Panthers will alternate between home and away. On the road, they will take on Barry (Jan. 4), Tampa (Jan. 15), Palm Beach Atlantic (Jan. 22) and will host Rollins (Jan. 1), Lynn (Jan. 8), Nova Southeastern (Jan. 18), and Florida Southern (Jan. 25).

To wrap up the month of January, Tech will stay at home to battle with Embry-Riddle on Wednesday, Jan. 29. The Panthers will then hop on the road for the next two contests, taking on Eckerd on Saturday, Feb. 1, and Rollins on Wednesday, Feb. 5.

Florida Tech will alternate home and away again for their final six matchups.

On the road, Tech will face Lynn (Feb. 12), Nova Southeastern (Feb. 22), Saint Leo (Mar. 1) and will host Barry (Feb. 8), Tampa (Feb. 19), and Palm Beach Atlantic (Feb. 26). Senior Day will occur in that final home matchup against Palm Beach Atlantic.

The SSC Championships are held from March 4-9, and the NCAA Championships are held from March 14-30. All home games and all road SSC contests can be viewed on the Sunshine State Conference Digital Network.
