Oct. 4—Tiger Woods is coming to Parker County.
The golfing legend recently announced plans to turn a more than 900-acre development in Aledo into a golf course and luxury home community, as Bluejack Ranch.
“It’s hard to believe it’s been over 10 years since we embarked on my first U.S. course design at Bluejack National in Houston,” Woods wrote in a letter to Bluejack. “Now, we’re bringing that same Bluejack spirit and passion to Fort Worth … It’s extremely motivating for me to contribute to the golfing legacy of Fort Worth, and I’m excited to see what we’ll build together.”
The project is a joint effort between Woods and his TGR Design group, along with Andy and Kristin Mitchell with Lantern Asset Management.
The property is located just off U.S. Highway 377 and Kelly Ranch Road in Aledo.
Along with the golf course, practice facilities, course and clubhouse, there will be about 600 homes and other amenities, such as a family entertainment area, a spa and fitness area and a podcast studio, along with a ranch with longhorns, horses and mini donkeys, according to the Bluejack website.
