Lady Bulldogs place seventh at golf state finals

Oct. 8—Saturday ended another season of high school golf in Indiana with the 52nd annual state finals at Prairie View Golf Club in Carmel.

Zionsville reigned supreme with a 2-day team score of (315-312) 627 to win its first state title since 2017. Zionsville freshman Taylor Snively was the individual medalist of the tournament with an even-par 144.

Noblesville was second with (310-322) 632 and Hamilton Southeastern was third with (327-325) 652.

Batesville finished seventh as a team with a (332-349) 681.

Batesville junior Ava South finished fifth overall with (75-74) 149. Senior Addy Weiler finished tied for 39th with (83-83) 166.

Both South and Weiler were selected as All-State.

Sophomore Alexis Gallagher finished tied for 64th with a (97-84) 181. Junior Zoey Ahern was tied for 74th with a (94-91) 185 and sophomore Grace Saner finished tied for 101st with (100-107) 207.

East Central sophomore Rowan Pies tied for seventh place by carding (77-74) 151
