Barcelona remain unworried about the upcoming registrations of their summer arrivals

It has been quite clear that FC Barcelona continues to have financial limitations imposed on them even today. Despite working to improve the overall economic health of the club, there are still some issues that need to be addressed. In particular, Barcelona continue to face some registration problems.

Despite managing to sign some top players for significant transfer fees, registrations within La Liga have proved to be problematic from time to time for the Catalan club in recent years. Through one way or another, however, Barcelona have managed to bypass their restrictions.

In the case of registering both Dani Olmo and Pau Victor, the two signings that Barcelona made in the summer, the unfortunate injury to Andreas Christensen ended up becoming a blessing in disguise. By using a special rule in La Liga, the club managed to temporarily register them until December 31 of 2024 using the available salary space.

However, from the start of the new year, Barcelona will have to register them again. Yet, despite their initial troubles, it has been reported by Mundo Deportivo that the club remains unworried about being able to register both players in January of 2025.

Even with Christensen expected to return by then, the club remains confident that both of their summer arrivals will end up being registered again without any issues. Ideally, that will happen without any unwanted delays and, at the moment, it seems like that will be the case.

While both players have been integral in their own unique way, Dani Olmo’s registration will be crucial for Barcelona. Ever since he set foot into the first team, he has been a difference-maker for Hansi Flick’s team and his presence is always a welcome one in this Barcelona team.

Had it not been for his untimely injury, Olmo would still be a regular starter for this Barça team. Fortunately, the team has not lost momentum since then and has kept on winning. Moreover, even the Spaniard himself is expected to be available once again for the team once the international break comes to an end.
