Coach’s quote: “Caden has always worked extremely hard on his golf game. As a freshman, Caden qualified for sectionals as a member of the team event. However, Caden did not break 100 in the sectional event, and he left disappointed, but determined. He used this as motivation and worked on his game all summer. He qualified for sectionals as a sophomore and narrowly missed advancing to the district final by a single shot. Again, Caden found motivation where many players might have hung their head in defeat. He attended golf camps, spent hours on the range and short game area striving to improve. Caden’s hard work has paid off over the past two years. He qualified for states as a junior and did so again this season, finishing second at the district championship shooting a 76. Caden won the LHAC individual championship by shooting a 75 and winning in an exciting playoff. Caden’s passion for the game has been contagious. He is always pushing himself to be better and his teammates on both the boys and girls teams have watched Caden continue to get better and realize the work it takes to become such a quality golfer. Caden has been a valuable member of the team over his four seasons, and he will be missed. I am confident that Caden’s work ethic will lead him to success in all he does both on and off the golf course.” – Westmont Hilltop golf coach Rob Patula
