PARKERSBURG — This year’s annual Monster Mash event will be 5-6:30 p.m. today in the grassy area beside Discovery World on Market at 900 Market St. Monster Mash will be held outside rain or shine. This is a fun opportunity to celebrate Halloween in a safe, kid-friendly environment.
Event vendors will provide interactive experiences and pass out candy. The community businesses/organizations who will be in attendance are the Actors Guild of Parkersburg, Artsbridge, Blueprints, Community Bank, Cre8tive Cosplay of the MOV, Crown Decor & Gifts, CSL Plasma, Discovery World on Market, Family Crisis & Intervention Center (Region V), First Baptist Church, Little Caesars Pizza, The Miracle League of the MOV, Parkersburg Art Center, Peoples Bank, Seven Mountains Media, WesBanco, West Virginia State Treasurer Office, & WVU Medicine Camden Clark.
Participants will enjoy music from a DJ and performances from three different dance groups, all Halloween-themed. The schedule of performances is at 5:20 p.m. – Heart & Veil Belly Dance Troupe; 5:45 p.m. – Thrill the World; and 6:10 p.m. – Wayward Dancers (witches’ dance).
