PREDICTED LINE-UPS | Milan v Udinese

Milan will aim to avoid a third straight defeat across all competitions when they face Udinese tonight at the San Siro.

Milan’s last game ended in a 2-1 loss to Fiorentina. The Rossoneri were haunted by loaned-out midfielder Yacine Adli, who opened the scoring for the hosts. Christian Pulisic levelled the scores in the 60th-minute However, Milan failed to build on the momentum gained from the equaliser and the Viola’s Albert Gudmundsson netted the decider soon after. Paulo Fonseca has faced challenging times since his appointment as the head coach at the start of the new season and his future will be assessed considering the results of Milan’s next few games.

Udinese have emerged as the surprising pack in the early parts of the season as they currently secure 5th-place in the league standings. The Udine-based side has suffered two losses till now albeit to teams like Roma and Inter but a couple of wins against second-tier outfits in the Coppa Italia have set the right mood amongst the fan atmosphere. Udinese’s previous outing resulted in a narrow 1-0 victory over Lecce. Jordan Zemura’s second-half strike made the difference as the Friulani grabbed their fourth win of the season in the Serie A.

Here are the predicted line-ups for the match according to Sky Italia:

Milan (4-2-3-1): Maignan; Emerson Royal, Tomori, Thiaw (Pavlovic), Terracciano; Fofana, Reijnders; Chukwueze, Pulisic, Okafor; Morata.

Udinese (3-5-2): Okoye; Kabasele, Bijol, Giannetti; Ehizibue, Lovric, Ekkelenkamp, Karlstrom, Zemura; Iker Bravo, Lucca.
