USMNT midfielder Weston McKennie returned to group training for Juventus wearing shoulder support, but he’s expected to be available tomorrow when the Old Lady face VfB Stuttgart in the Champions League.
McKennie missed Saturday’s game against Lazio due to a reported minor muscle issue, but footage from today’s training in Turin suggests the problems lie elsewhere for the ex-Leeds United loanee.
The American midfielder returned to group training on Monday on the eve of a Champions League game against VfB Stuttgart, wearing shoulder support.
McKennie had already sustained shoulder injuries in 2022 and earlier this year.
According to Sky Sport Italia, the American midfielder will be eligible to play against Stuttgart tomorrow.
McKennie has one goal in six Juventus games this season.
Teun Koopmeiners, Arkadiusz Milik, Gleison Bremer, and Nico Gonzalez are still injured and will not be eligible to play in the next Champions League game.
