Foster signs new one-year contract with Salford

Date:

Salford Red Devils have agreed a one-year contract extension with forward Matty Foster.

The 23-year-old second-row joined Salford from St Helens nearly 12 months ago, but managed only three appearances after suffering an ankle injury.

Foster only played one senior game for Saints, but sustained two anterior cruciate ligament injuries.

He told the Red Devils’ club’s website: “I was gutted to cut my season short through injury, but I can’t wait to get back into training and look forward to continuing my development under the coaching staff.”
