Manchester United captain Bruno Fernandes has sent his reaction on Instagram following a big injury update from the club tonight.
The Red Devils ended a five-match winless streak at the weekend with a 2-1 comeback triumph over Brentford in the Premier League.
Fernandes registered his second assist of the top-flight campaign with a superb backheel flick for Rasmus Hojlund’s 62nd minute winner.
United have now provided more good news by confirming that summer signing Leny Yoro has returned to individual training after injury.
Fernandes quickly posted his reaction on Instagram with the caption: ‘Almost time’.
Here is a screenshot:
Yoro joined the Red Devils from Lille for £52 million in the summer. United managed to convince him despite the long-standing interest from Real Madrid.
The 18-year-old had a good start to pre-season with the club, but he unfortunately suffered a foot injury during the friendly against Arsenal in the United States.
United soon after confirmed that he would be sidelined for three months. Yoro has now returned to individual training and he could join the group by early November.
Nonetheless, he may not be rushed back into first-team action. Yoro could initially get some playing time with the development squad to build up his match fitness.
In our opinion, Yoro could make his competitive debut following the next international break. He may have to wait until early December to make his maiden start.
United will be in action against Fenerbahce in the Europa League on Thursday evening. Fernandes won’t be involved after his sending-off at Porto earlier this month.
