The Philadelphia Flyers have announced that defenseman Emil Andrae has been re-assigned to the Lehigh Valley Phantoms of the American Hockey League (AHL).

Andrae, 22, was on the Flyers’ roster since the start of the campaign but has yet to make his season debut for the NHL squad. Now, he has been sent back to the Phantoms and will look to impress from here.
Andrae was a key part of the Phantoms’ defense last season, recording five goals and 32 points in 61 games with the AHL club. In addition, he played in his first four NHL games last season, recording zero points and a minus-1 rating.
