Ok.

It’s, it’s been rough for the few Sam Laporta true believers out there.

Uh Suddenly I feel like I’m alone on Laporta Island, that’s fine.

Whatever.

Uh It, it might be nice to see more than three targets a game.

I get it.

Uh All I can tell you people is that all of the underlying numbers actually look really good for Sam uh his route percentage, his alignment on the field.

It’s just the same as it was last year.

He’s also getting elite separation on his targets.

Uh He has a passer rating when targeted of 1 38.4 which is pretty incredible.

But again, obviously, the opportunities are few and far between this year.

I think this death star Detroit offense will eventually find Laporta.

Again, we’re, we’re gonna be without Jamison Williams for a couple of weeks.

So perhaps that helps him.

Uh It might happen for him this week against a pretty Frisky Tennessee defense.

I feel like this can be the week that he breaks through the mythic 60 yard barrier, uh that has been unattainable for him thus far.

Let’s give him three catches in this one for 67 yards and let’s also give him his second touchdown of 2024.

Come on, Sam, you gotta, you gotta do something this week, man.

You’re embarrassing me.
