4-star Cam Ward commits to Michigan State basketball

Michigan State basketball has added a major piece to it’s 2025 recruiting class, earning the commitment of 4-star Cam Ward. The Spartans won the recruitment over a final three that also included Kansas State, Maryland and Virginia.

A Largo, Maryland native, Ward is a 6-foot-7, 210 pound wing. He currently ranks as the No. 50 overall player in the 2025 recruiting class according to 247Sports composite rankings.

Ward joins fellow DMV wing Jordan Scott as members of the Spartans 2025 recruiting class.
