Two vehicles crash into buildings in separate Oahu incidents

HONOLULU (KHON2) — The dine-in portion of Zippy’s Wahiawa will be closed Wednesday after a truck crashed into the restaurant.

The vehicle ran through the dine-in section around 8:15 a.m.

No guests or employees were in the area at the time of the crash.

“We are grateful that our guests, our team members, and the driver are safe and there were no injuries,” the restaurant said in a statement.

The take-out window will remain open until midnight.

Over in Pearl City, a woman is in stable condition after her vehicle crashed into a building and some bushes on Kuala Street.

The incident happened just after 10 a.m.

The woman suffered minor injuries.
