In a highly anticipated return match at the Cappanelle Cricket Grounds in Rome, the Vatican Cricket Team (Athletica Vaticana) secured a convincing 7-wicket victory against the England Seniors.

Earlier this summer, the Vatican Team had traveled to England, where they were hosted by the same opponents, making this fixture a special rematch under challenging weather conditions.

The England Seniors batted first under a cloudy sky and difficult outfield conditions, managing to post a total of 66 runs for 8 wickets in their allotted 20 overs.
