📸 Marseille fans unveil tifo in tribute to iconic Le Classique moment

Marseille and Paris Saint-Germain’s latest Classique meeting began in fiery fashion but the tone was set before kick-off.

Home fans unveiled an impressive tifo at the Stade Vélodrome with a tribute to one of the enduring images in the fixture’s rich history.

Les Phocéens’ Fabrizio Ravanelli went nose to nose PSG rival Pierre Ducrocq during a particularly fiery meeting between the sides in 1997.

Ironically Ravanelli and Ducrocq later became teammates when they both represented Derby County during their Premier League era in the mid-2000s.

But there clearly wasn’t any love lost between the sides as the hosts fell behind early on before being reduced to ten men when Amine Harit received a straight red card.
