Green Bay Packers quarterback Jordan Love sustained a groin strain during Sunday’s win over the Jacksonville Jaguars, NFL Network reports.
The report cites an MRI Love underwent Monday to evaluate the injury. He’ll undergo treatment throughout the week and has a shot to play in next Sunday’s NFC North showdown against the Detroit Lions, per the report.
The prognosis is good news in Green Bay a day after head coach Matt LaFleur expressed “a high level of concern” about his quarterback’s health.
“I think everybody could see him struggling to move around and I just got to a point where we didn’t, he didn’t feel like he could protect himself,” LaFleuer told reporters following Green Bay’s 30-27 win.
