Torquay United sign Yeovil Town striker Young

Date:

Torquay United have signed Yeovil Town striker Jordan Young for an undisclosed fee.

The 25-year-old, who is a former Scotland youth international, has agreed a deal to stay at Plainmoor until the summer of 2027.

Young began his career with Swindon Town and also had a spell at Coventry City before moving into non-league with Gloucester City and Chippenham Town.

He moved to Yeovil in January 2023 and scored 16 goals last season as Yeovil won the National League South title.

“Jordan is a player who excelled for Yeovil last season in National League South, and he’s been very, very good this season for Yeovil in the National League,” Torquay boss Paul Wotton told the club website.

“He’s a player who brings creativity, pace and quality to the squad.”
