Despite being out of action for the next weeks, Alexis Saelemaekers made himself heard outside the gates of Trigoria earlier today.
Today Roma trained at the ‘Fulvio Bernardini’ in Trigoria and as he was leaving the sports centre Alexis Saelemaekers was stopped by a fan, who asked for explanations about the team’s negative moment.
Filmed by Radio Romanista, Saelemaekers calmly answered the fan’s questions.
“Moments like these happen in every team. At the moment I can only help the team mentally and not on the pitch,” said the Belgian attacker who is out with a fractured ankle, having made only two appearances for Roma so far.
“I know it’s hard for you but you have to understand that it’s hard for us too,” he continued.
“We try to give everything, sometimes you give everything on the pitch but you don’t get the results and that can happen. We all want to give 100%.”
