Halloween Will Have These 2 Zodiac Signs Feeling Extra Intuitive

Halloween takes place on Oct. 31 during Scorpio season, a time of year that is astrologically viewed as “intense” due to its corresponding zodiac sign’s energy that rules the “shadowy sides of life.”

According to PEOPLE’s resident astrologer Kyle Thomas, Scorpio energy is often described as “moody” and “penetrating,” which is why the weeks before Halloween and the day the holiday is celebrated allow “the dark sides” of humanity to be explored.

Scorpio season “puts an extra spooky feel into our lives and the human collective,” Thomas says, adding that there are “very particular energies” that are likely to be felt as a result. The planets explain why.

Mercury (our planet of the mind) will be swimming through Scorpio on Oct. 31 and stand opposite Uranus (the planet of chaos). As a result, Thomas says “a great deal of twists and turns could pop into our lives with sudden events, surprises or even accidents” — noting it’s “best to go with the flow.”

On Halloween day, Mercury links with Neptune (the planet of spirituality and imagination), which Thomas says “will cast an enchanting and bewitching mood over our lives” and amplify the “spooky feel” even further.

“We can expect that there may even be a more poetic and magical mood percolating everywhere,” Thomas puts forth. Lastly, the moon will be in Gemini, which he predicts “will bring a festive, social atmosphere for us to enjoy!”

Aries (March 21 to April 19)

Local haunts will be top of mind this Halloween, Aries! “You could be connecting with many neighbors, pals or siblings this year… feeling especially eager to mix and mingle in familiar places,” says Thomas.

On a separate note, Thomas predicts that “your intuition will be speaking in profound riddles” at this time, so “pay attention to any spooky messages channeling to you.”

Taurus (April 20 to May 20)

Candy is guaranteed on Halloween, Taurus, but you’ll be craving a sweetheart, too! “There’s a major focus on significant partnerships for you this year,” Thomas puts forth.

“You could be making plans with your significant other or best friend,” he says, like perhaps creating a couples costume with the bestie or boo! If single, he says “you could meet someone who becomes a long-term partner” or “realize someone in your network is actually the perfect match.”

Elsewhere in his prediction, Thomas predicts “you’re likely to be spending quite a bit of money this year. “It could be on a “luxurious event or simply costume essentials.”

Gemini (May 21 to June 20)

Prepare to feel all the feels, Gemini, almost like you’re under a spell! “You’re going to be feeling deep in your emotions this Halloween,” predicts Thomas.

“Luckily you’re likely to feel quite excited, optimistic and eager for new beginnings,” he puts forth. “This is a special moment to really hone in on your feelings and trust the flow.”

If you’re feeling social, Thomas says to “get out there!” But if you’re not in the mood, he assures “it’s okay to rest and recharge and have a cozy night at home with those who you adore celebrating with some spooky movies and apple cider.”

Cancer (June 21 to July 22)

Eerie silence is not an option for you this Halloween, Cancer! You’re feeling “eager for all sorts of socializing,” says Thomas.

While he predicts you’ll be “receiving several invites from your pals and sweethearts,” he says you may also notice “a sudden shift” around your plans out of nowhere. This can be in the form of a location change, an event cancellation or a new party pop-up out of the blue.

Whatever it may be, Thomas says to “let loose and have fun!” You’re feeling especially “romantic and creative this year,” he notes, so open up to the vibe and make the most of it. “Singles have a touch of extra luck on meeting someone who ignites their sexy spark.”

Leo (July 23 to Aug. 22)

Soak up that midnight moon glow, Leo! Thomas says “you’re feeling as popular as ever” this Halloween, likely to juggle “two big” events.

No fear! Thomas says you’ll have “no worries” about making both if you strategically plan ahead. This will allow you to “show off your fabulous costume” as you step into the spotlight you crave.

On a separate note, Thomas says you might “even find yourself” hosting a party yourself! It can be as low-key as a small jack-o-lantern carving or spooky Ouija board ceremony, too.

Virgo (Aug. 23 to Sept. 22)

You’ll be shining bright like a lit-up jack-o-lantern on Halloween, Virgo. “There’s a lot of people who will be paying attention to you this year,” predicts Thomas.

“It’s clear that many close friends, neighbors, pals or siblings want to spend extra time hanging out and enjoying time with you,” he explains. If you’re single, Thomas says you may “strike up a meaningful conversation with someone who has long-term potential.”

If you are feeling “spontaneous” to take a trip, Thomas notes it could “also be a fun opportunity.” If you step out on the town with your crew or significant other, he assures that “you will have a great time.”

Elsewhere in his prediction, Thomas says “you could even make a special promise this year.” In fact, it’s one that he says “could last forever.”

Libra (Sept. 23 to Oct. 22)

No scaredy cats allowed this Halloween, Libra! This year, Thomas says “it’s all about stepping outside your comfort zone.”

Perhaps, you’ll find yourself “traveling” to new places or taking part in “new and fresh” activities that you haven’t experienced before. “Embrace your knack for new horizons and new opportunities,” says Thomas.

Scorpio (Oct. 23 to Nov. 21)

Find the pumpkin to your spice, Scorpio! This Halloween, Thomas predicts you’ll “crave to intimately unite” with someone in body, mind and soul.

“You’re going to feel more social and eager for connection” before and on Oct. 31, he puts forth. “Spending it with a sweetheart could bring back the magic of Halloween you felt when you were a child.”

If you’re not in a relationship, Thomas says “singles also have a hot chance to meet someone extra special!”

Sagittarius (Nov. 22 to Dec. 21)

It’s a “fang-tastic” time for partnerships, Sagittarius! Whether you’re already linked up or seeking to meet someone special, Thomas says “you’re one of the luckiest zodiac signs” to capitalize on this energy.

Even if you’re feeling the urge to lie low this year, Thomas says to “push yourself to link up with others” and predicts “you’ll have a great time” if you do. He notes you’ll feel especially “enchanted” if you host a gathering at your home for friends or family, too!

Capricorn (Dec. 22 to Jan. 19)

Hang with your boo or creepy crew, Capricorn! Thomas says this year’s Halloween puts “a lot of attention on your love life and friendships.”

Aquarius (Jan. 20 to Feb. 18)

Pumpkins scatter the ground and passion fills the air, Aquarius! Thomas says this spooky season is a special time to “express yourself, unleash your creativity and show off your Halloween magic.”

If you want attention, Thomas predicts “all eyes will be on you.” He adds, “Prominence, glory and a splash of fame could be on your side — so if entering a costume contest, don’t be surprised you win!”

Pisces (Feb. 19 to March 20)

Home is where the haunt is, Pisces, in the best way possible! Thomas says you’ll likely want to celebrate this Halloween at home or with family — and if you do, he predicts “you won’t regret it!”

Throw a party, cast some spells, play a few games to celebrate the spooky holiday with your favorites. While you do so, Thomas says to “focus on why you love the people in your life.”

Thomas also notes that your intuition will be “especially strong” this year. “Consider chatting with a medium or psychic, praying out to your ancestors or playing with some Tarot cards,” he puts forth.
