Heading into the season.
I thought that this Titans backfield was going to be equally split, but Tony Pollard has absolutely dominated a part of that has been health issues for Taj Spears.
But even when Spears has been active and healthy, Pollard has still been the dominant force.
He looks like a changed man from 2023.
He is healthy, he is explosive and he is handling volume with a solid success rate despite being in a complete nightmare scenario offensively with quarterback inconsistency.
Despite the challenges, Pollard has offered a dependable floor and a decent ceiling but he is rarely cracked into RB one territory, but this could be the week where he finally sees that high ceiling game this week.
He faces a new England Patriots defense that has been struggling after significant injuries.
Whereas earlier in the season, they were a risky match up more recently.
It has been all systems go with huge games given up to Jordan Mason, Joe Mixon, the Miami running back duo of Raheem Mostert and Jalen Wright and even Damian Pierce had eight carries for 76 yards and a touchdown.
Spears is still dealing with a hamstring injury.
And this game will be another game with touches dominated by Tony Pollard.
Give me 20 carries for over 100 yards and a touchdown and some solid receiving work for Pollard’s first top 10 finish of the year.
