NEW DELHI: Virat Kohli knows how to savour every moment, and Day 1 of the third Test between India and New Zealand at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai was no exception.
Kohli was in high spirits on Friday and couldn’t resist dancing to the classic Bollywood number ‘My Name is Lakhan‘ from the 1988 hit film Ram Lakhan, starring Anil Kapoor.
Seizing the chance to entertain fans and teammates alike, Kohli’s hilarious dance moves were caught on camera and quickly went viral on social media, showing his playful side on the field.
On Thursday, Kohli was retained by Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) for the next three IPL seasons, with a contract worth Rs 21 crore, making him the joint-second costliest retained player in the IPL 2025 retention list.
Kohli shares this position with Nicholas Pooran of Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) who was also retained for Rs 21 crore, while Heinrich Klaasen leads the list, retained by Sunrisers Hyderabad for Rs 23 crore.
