LAFAYETTE – Purdue women’s basketball will have a Dutch touch from the perimeter for the 2025-26 campaign.

Keona Douwstra, a native of the Netherlands, announced her commitment on Saturday to join Purdue on her Instagram page.

Douwstra is a 5-foot-9 guard who has represented the Netherlands in several FIBA European tournaments. She averaged 6.4 points, 2.3 rebounds and 1.4 assists on the U/18 European Championship in August.

She gives Purdue its third player in its 2025 class, accompanied by top-100 ESPN recruits Avery Gordon of Brownsburg and forward Kira Reynolds from South Bend Washington.
