Alabama women’s basketball moves to No. 21 in USA Today Coaches Poll

Alabama women’s basketball moved up one spot to sit at No. 21 in the USA Today Coaches Poll that was released on Tuesday.

Alabama is one of seven SEC teams ranked in the poll: South Carolina (1), Texas (4), LSU (7), Oklahoma (9), Kentucky (16) and Ole Miss (20).

The 6-0 Crimson Tide started the week off with a 75-52 win over Sunday. It is not slated to play again until next week in the Emerald Coast Classic from Nov. 25-26 in Destin, Florida. Alabama has four players averaging in double figures, Sarah Ashlee Barker leading the team with 18.7 points per game followed by Aaliyah Nye (15), Zaay Green (13.3) and Essence Cody (10.7).
