Aquarius Monthly Horoscope

Date:

MONTH OF November

Countdown, on! The calendar doesn’t turn just yet, but you’ve got your eye on the ticker this month. The Sun makes its annual sojourn through Scorpio and your ambitious, goal-driven tenth house until November 21, getting you all fired up to meet your 2024 milestones. You’ve got no time for drama or nonsense, Aquarius. You’re on a mission, and the only direction to go is up!

But there’s an even bigger, history-making reason to keep yourself anchored this month: On November 19, transformational Pluto embarks on its unbroken 20-year visit to Aquarius. Get ready for two whole decades of deep personal transformation—and massive impact! You’re the leader of the Age of Aquarius (they don’t call it that for nothing) and we need you to show this world the way forward. Who better than your innovative, future-focused sign to lead us into unprecedented times?

Before this happens, though, we have a U.S. presidential election, which arrives two days after Mars leaves Cancer and blazes into Leo, heating up your relationships house for the rest of the year (from November 3 to January 6). While Pluto might put you on a radically independent path, Mars intensifies your partnerships. Amid these polar opposite pulls, you have a chance to boost your career at the November 1 Scorpio new moon, and change up your living situation or family focus at the November 15 Taurus full moon.

Your social life will kick into high gear when the Sun moves into Sagittarius on November 21. Until then, put in the long hours, as needed, especially while the Sun is in Scorpio and your ambitious, goal-driven tenth house (for the first three weeks of the month). With Mercury retrograde in Sagittarius from November 25 to December 15, you won’t be quite as eager to “rise and grind” (unless we’re talking about your artisanal coffee beans, that is).

Target a few lofty career goals and check ‘em off your list before the year ends. The November 1 Scorpio new moon is an ideal day to initiate an ambitious project, deliver a grand slam pitch deck or even land a new job if you’re in the market for one.

With a fresh six-month cycle starting in your career zone, power moves made at the Scorpio new moon could yield a big professional victory by the May 2025 Scorpio full moon. Got your sights set on a leadership role or an equally big next step? New moons can take up to six months to fully unfold, so map out a trajectory. Speak to a mentor or supervisor about what you need to do to position yourself, perhaps acquire new skills, get advanced training or a professional certification.

Ready for a relationship reboot? On November 3, Mars exits Cancer and your sixth house of wellness, where it’s brought firepower AND friction to your health and work goals since September 4. You may have had the busiest fall in years, with tons of detailed tasks and a to-do list longer than a #tradwife’s grocery list.

Savor your mountain of accomplishments, then ready for some new relationship energy when Mars moves into Leo on November 3, heating up your partnership zone for the rest of the year. But don’t expect the red planet to depart quietly! Right before exiting Cancer, Mars locks into a heated opposition with shadowy Pluto, which is in Capricorn and your twelfth house of hidden agendas.

Warning: Control issues and stress can hit a breaking point. You may want to throw in the towel, or you could feel like despite your best efforts to play by the rules, you simply can’t win. Power struggles can erupt during this opposition, and the frenzy around the U.S. election certainly won’t help matters.

Before you point fingers, ask yourself: Is there some subtext that you’re just not getting? Buried resentment could reach a boiling point, welling up into a volcanic verbal attack. People are prone to projecting their hostilities with Mars and Pluto in this position, so duck for cover—and be careful not to lash out yourself. This is your cue to prioritize or draw better boundaries moving forward. Stress management can go far in helping you keep your usual cool.

Once this intensity passes, Mars in Leo majorly fires up your relationship energy, bringing some holiday heat to your love life and business partnerships alike. Couples might argue a little more often, but the makeup portion of the drama will be equally hot! You might also proactively challenge yourselves to break out of a rut by trying new things or getting physically active together instead of lounging in front of the TV with snacks, yet again! Not that there’s anything fundamentally wrong with that—but it’s less likely to bring the sizzle that Mars affords!

On November 15, a double header of transits arrives to spark up your money mojo and energize your home life before the holidays: Saturn ends a sluggish retrograde in Pisces and your financial second house, and the full moon in Taurus activates your domestic fourth house (escorted by your ruling planet Uranus).

If your cashflow has bottlenecked, good news: Restrictive Saturn wakes up from a five-month retrograde in Pisces and your second house of work and money that began on June 29. The tough taskmaster has plodded through this fiscal zone since March 2023, auditing your budget AND your discipline.

You’ve been pushed to examine your financial foundation, asking questions like: “How can I make my money work harder for me instead of working harder and harder for my money?” You may have tightened your belt a few notches in these past few years due to setbacks or shaky parts of your fiscal foundation. At moments, it’s been hard to keep the faith around your funds, or feel inspired about your day-to-day life and work.

If you’ve relied on luck instead of mastery, or your skills were due for an upgrade that you put off, Saturn pulled no punches about it. Inspector Saturn revealed the cracks in your master plan, and all the more so during the retrograde. During the summer and fall, you may have lost a client or seen a dip in your revenues. Maybe a burdensome expense ate up resources, or you worked punishing hours because your plate was piled so high. When Saturn exits Pisces in February 2026, you could emerge on solid, solvent ground—provided you learn the lessons Saturn’s serving!

Saturn’s goal during this three-year run isn’t to punish you (even if it’s felt that way!) but to make you lean, mean and cash-positive by forcing you to create smarter habits. The caveat is that you have to pay some dues to get there. That means curbing your sign’s pursuit of instant gratification and focusing on the long game.

Structured Saturn is all about planning and prioritizing. Instead of relying on luck or charm, you’ve had to hustle and grind. It might seem “boring” to lay down the bricks instead of doing all the fun, sexy stuff. But if you don’t cover the basics, you’ll remain stuck on a plateau. Build the road to your ultimate destination, one length at a time.

Family is also in the spotlight on November 15. As Saturn corrects course, the Taurus full moon arrives to energize your fourth house of home, family and foundations. You may feel especially inclined to pull up roots since the full moon travels in tandem with your ruler, disruptor Uranus, the planet of sudden changes. This extra dose of frenetic energy could leave you feeling destabilized emotionally in your personal life.

Ramp up your self-care because you’ll need extra support to stay centered. A volatile situation with family or home could make it hard to find your footing. Get ahead of this curveball by establishing clear boundaries and expectations with family (and work) from the get-go this month.

If this already feels like a lot to handle in November, there’s more. The major planetary event of the month takes place when transformative Pluto finally moves into YOUR sign for an uninterrupted 20-year run (through January 19, 2044). Since 2008, Pluto has spent a prolonged amount of time (roughly 16 years!) in Capricorn and your twelfth house of healing, spirituality and surrender.

You’ve already had a taste of Pluto in Aquarius, as it’s made two brief preview treks through your sign: the first, from March 23 to June 11, 2023, then from January 20 to September 1 this year. The stirrings of change, sovereignty and self-advocacy that began then will become your “new normal” going forward.

Historically, Pluto was last in Aquarius from 1778 to 1798, a time of revolution and innovation. For you personally, Aquarius, slowly but indelibly, Pluto will guide a deep, inside-out transformation. Hosting Pluto in your first house of identity and selfhood could inspire a big change in the way others see you, and how you want to be seen.

You may change your appearance, shift your identity and maybe even start to go by a different name! You could also move or start a bold new chapter of your life that looks entirely unlike anything you’ve experienced to date. No need to obsess over the details now, though. You have two whole decades to go on this journey.

Not everyone gets to experience Pluto in their zodiac sign, since this tiny, slow-moving planet takes about 250 years to return to each sign. It’s quite a karmic opportunity to be born at a time to experience Pluto’s power firsthand.

As indie-spirited as you’re feeling now, Aquarius, don’t forget to lean on your team! After working hard on your goals all month, collaborations could take flight on November 21 when Sagittarius season begins. As the Sun enters the Archer’s court for a month-long sashay through your eleventh house of group activity and friendship, it’s the perfect time to hit the holiday party circuit to network and catch up with your crew.

Combine business and pleasure and maybe even host a casual gathering or official event to promote something special you’re working on. Naturally you’ll want to keep an eye on your goals, but DO unchain yourself from your desk now. You’ll accomplish more when you’re out in a social setting than you will locked in your workspace.

That advice comes with a caution, though: On November 25, communication planet Mercury turns retrograde (backward) in Sagittarius until December 15, a transit that can foil interpersonal affairs, technology and travel. Plans can go awry and people might wildly misunderstand each other. Not exactly the holiday cheer you were hoping to get from ‘dem stars, Aquarius!

Mercury’s reversal in your eleventh house of teamwork and technology can make for serious social media SNAFUs and device-related drama. This could be the perfect time to go on a TikTok fast or an Instagram detox—and to bow out of party invitations that leave you feeling less than inspired.

How about a reunion though, Aquarius? Retrogrades can bring back the past, so don’t be surprised if you’re pinged unexpectedly by an old friend or colleague. Whether this blast from your personal archives is welcome, we can’t guarantee. Don’t force yourself to revive an old-time’s-sake connection, either. (You might want to turn off those location settings on your posts if you don’t want the social ghosts of holidays past to know you’re staying at your parents’ place on Thanksgiving.)

Above all, Mercury retrograde is a messenger. Anyone who pops back onto your radar may offer you an opportunity for closure. Do you need to resolve something from that part of your life, or reconnect to the person you were back then? For example, if you used to travel and be adventurous but your life has become a monotonous maze of work and duty, this person’s reappearance could remind you to go explore. Welcome the lessons but know that it might take a little processing and time to figure out what exactly those are.

Swipe and ye shall find! Your clickthrough rate on the apps is peaking as sweet Venus opens the month logged into Sagittarius and your techie eleventh house until November 11. Nothing gets you more hot and bothered like a stimulating conversation that keeps you up all night. During this electrifying cosmic cycle, you might experiment with new toys, orgasm-intensifying breathwork and anything that, er, charges up your chi.

It doesn’t hurt that motivated Mars struts into Leo and lights up your relationship zone starting November 3, putting your one-on-one connections in the cosmic spotlight. This month, a particularly special bond could have lasting potential. At the very least, your patience for situationships and casual flings will hit an all-time low.

While you may have mastered the art of playing it cool—not unlike the iconic Gone Girl monologue delivered by fellow Aquarius Rosamund Pike—the arrival of powerful Pluto in YOUR sign on November 19 marks the beginning of an uninterrupted 20-year personal transformation. Get ready to channel this newfound empowerment into your relationships.
It starts with asking for exactly what you want and asserting your boundaries as needed.

Heads up: Mercury turns retrograde later this month (November 25 to December 15). Choose your words with care and dial back any aggressive feelings. Watch for an extra dose of passive-aggressive behavior—or the return of an ex—when Mars joins Mercury in the retrograde brigade on December 6. While speaking from the heart is undeniably sexy, mistaking rudeness for honesty? Not so much.

On November 11, Venus slips into Capricorn and your fantasy-fueled twelfth house until December 7. While you won’t shy away from a sweet escape, your assertiveness and bandwidth for banter will be low. You might even want to take a short time-out from a heavy relationship or dating demands. Silver lining: When the love planet zooms into Aquarius on December 7, you’ll rebound—and it will help offset the Mars retrograde cycle that begins, alas, in your relationship house, the day before.

Three, two, one…liftoff! Your career could blast off like a space-bound billionaire as the Sun blazes through Scorpio and your ambitious tenth house until November 21. Up the ante during the first three weeks of the month by adding polish and professionalism to everything you touch. You get an extra cosmic boost at the November 1 Scorpio new moon—a fertile opportunity to start a new job or to pitch a client before the year closes. Seeds planted at the new moon could blossom into a big professional manifestation by the corresponding Scorpio full moon in May.

On November 15, structured Saturn, your planetary co-ruler, rouses from a nearly five-month retrograde in Pisces and your money zone. Since June 29, Saturn has conducted a cosmic audit of your budget, pushing your spontaneous sign to be more fiscally austere than you probably like. You may have lost a client or seen a dip in your income streams, leaving you feeling uncertain about your fiscal future.

As the planet of structure powers forward in Pisces, you’ll be able to approach any financial goals with more clarity. It’s time to make your money work harder for you, rather than working harder for your money. Stability is in sight!

More eureka moments arrive later that day (November 15), when the annual Taurus full moon beams into your foundational fourth house. You may experience revelations about your values and financial situation. If your job is no longer a fit, the Taurus full moon could push you to make a change. You might also feel inspired to declutter or sell items you no longer need. Perhaps your humanitarian side would appreciate Trashie’s Take Back Bag program that strives to keep unwanted clothing and textiles from going into landfills, in exchange for credit. Clearing out your physical and mental space AND a boost to your finances? Win-win!

The real headliner of the month, however, is that Pluto’s FINALLY moving into your sign for an uninterrupted 20-year run on November 19. A more empowered chapter awaits you Aquarius, one that celebrates your authenticity and ability to organize your community.

Once the Sun bursts into Sagittarius and your group-centric eleventh house on November 21, that might include mapping out an org chart, networking or combing through your contact list for helpful names. Aquarius is the sign of friendship, and while they say not to mix friends with business, those “rules” don’t apply to you.

DO, however, be discerning about who vibes with your Water Bearer circle as Mercury—ruler of communication, technology, and travel—turns retrograde on November 25. You’re usually the “in da clurb, we all fam” type, but with Mercury’s backspin through Sagittarius and your teams zone until December 15, confusion and misgivings can test even the closest relationships (especially after December 6 when Mars joins the retrograde brigade). When in doubt, hash it out instead of leaping to hasty conclusions.
