Master’s Academy hosts Lakeside Christian in a high school football game on Friday, September 20, 2024 at Leisure Square in Vero Beach,

For the second time in as many seasons, the Patriots eclipsed 60 points in a game following a lopsided road victory over the Coyotes in Davenport. The game was originally scheduled for last Friday, but was postponed due to Hurricane Milton.

“We were just so focused going into the game,” Master’s Academy head coach Stephen Boyer said. “We were off for over two weeks due to the storm, but we preached physicality during that stretch and over the last couple of practices. That way we can get back into the groove of playing Patriot football, and the boys did an outstanding job of doing just that.”

Numerous players made contributions to the Patriots win, led by Josh Namvar. The sophomore went 9-for-12 passing for 73 yards with two touchdowns while adding three more scores on the ground. Isiah Willimas and Levi LeLebure had 100 and 78 rushing yards, respectively. Each had rushing touchdowns

Willimas, along with Johnnie Stevens, snagged interception return scores while Grady Kovaleski picked off a pair of passes.

Master’s Academy (6-1) plays at 7 p.m. Friday at the Classical Academy of Sarasota.
