Arsenal admire €45 million-rated Real Madrid young jewel – report

Arda Guler might not be a regular starter at Real Madrid, but the 19-year-old Turkish prodigy has made an impact more often than not when given a chance by manager Carlo Ancelotti.

So far this season, the versatile attacking midfielder, who can also play on the right flank, has featured 21 times in all competitions, chipping in with one goal and three assists.

The youngster was even named the La Liga Under-23 Player of the Month for December.

And, it seems like the former Fenerbahce starlet’s potential has not gone unnoticed, with the Daily Mail reporting that Premier League giants Arsenal are big admirers of Guler.

Following the injury to Bukayo Saka, the Gunners’ manager, Mikel Arteta, is pushing for a new attacker’s signing in the upcoming January transfer window.

And as per the report, Guler is a player who has admirers at the Emirates Stadium. However, at the same time, those at Arsenal are also aware that the 19-year-old is not for sale with Real Madrid viewing him as an important part of the club’s long-term plans.

Guler’s lack of game-time in the early parts of the ongoing season had led to suggestions that a loan exit in the January transfer window could be on the cards.

However, Real Madrid have no intention whatsoever of letting the 19-year-old leave, either on loan or permanently, in January.

After all, Guler has made important contributions whenever given a proper chance while the number of injuries that Los Blancos have endured this season means they need to have adequate squad depth as well.
