Arsenal on Alert as Reims Star Discusses the Challenges of Facing PSG

In their last two matches, Paris Saint-Germain has faced challenges in attack, relying on some luck to score against Girona FC and managing only a header from Ousmane Dembélé during their away game at Stade de Reims.

The French giants need to address their scoring issues before their big UEFA Champions League clash with Arsenal on October 1. Although the Ligue 1 side has hit a rough patch with their goal-scoring, one Reims player warned the Gunners as their match looms.

On Sunday, Reims’ Emmanuel Agbadou noted why he believes that this Parisian side is better than last season with Kylian Mbappé.

“The Paris of before and the Paris of this season are not the same,” Agbadou said (h/t Paris Fans). “They all play together, they all defend together; it’s more difficult. They have this ability to recover the ball quickly. They are very reactive when it comes to recovering the ball after it leaves spaces behind.

“You can’t allow players like that to have time with the ball. Without pressure, they can hurt you. We try to reduce their time on the ball, and we have done that quite well.”

PSG’s performance is worrying, especially considering how well their opponents in the competition played this past weekend.

Arsenal took a 2-1 lead on the road against Manchester City, even while playing with just 10 men. Meanwhile, VfB Stuttgart had a stunning 5-1 victory over Borussia Dortmund.

In another dramatic turn, Manchester City scored a last-minute equalizer to draw with Arsenal. On a roll, Bayern Munich has scored an impressive 20 goals in their last three matches.
