Baja California’s Tianguis Turístico 2025 promoted at the World Travel Market in London – MEXICONOW

LONDON – Within the framework of the World Travel Market (WTM) London 2024 and with the presence of the Secretary of Tourism of the Government of Mexico, Josefina Rodríguez Zamora, the Secretary of Tourism of Baja California, Miguel Aguíñiga Rodríguez, participated in a dinner to promote the Tianguis Turístico 2025, to be held in that state.

The dinner, held at Cavita restaurant, offered attendees a select tasting of Baja California wines, highlighting the rich wine culture of the region, as well as a sample of the diverse culinary offerings of the state, in the hands of Baja California chef, Ruffo Ibarra.

Baja California’s Secretary of Tourism, Miguel Aguíñiga Rodríguez, highlighted the state as the gateway to Mexico, with solid air connectivity to facilitate access to both the country and the United States. He also highlighted the diversity of natural, cultural and gastronomic attractions that distinguish the region, inviting attendees to discover all that the state has to offer at the next Tianguis Turístico 2025, to be held in Baja California.

This meeting with industry leaders was fundamental for the process of positioning and attracting buyers and media for the 49th edition of the Tianguis Turístico de México to be held between April 28 and May 1, 2025 in the region, being for the first time binational in nature and thus enhancing the importance of this tourism showcase of Mexico to the world.

The dinner was attended by Josefa González Blanco, Mexican Ambassador to the United Kingdom; Mariana Herrera Salcedo, Consul for Economic Affairs and Tourism; Mark Mooren, Manager of Aeromexico in the United Kingdom, Ireland and Benelux, as well as José Regueira, Technical Sales Manager of Lufthansa. Also in attendance were Jean-Sebastien Saleem, Sales and Services Manager for the Americas, and Adolfo Alonso, Account Manager for Strategic Alliances, among others.

The World Travel Market in London is an event of great relevance in the world travel industry, which has been consolidated as the main meeting point for professionals in the sector since its creation in 1980. This international fair, which took place from November 5 to 7, 2024 at ExCeL London, was attended by a wide range of participants, from tourist destinations to technology companies, providing an ideal space to establish contacts, share trends and do business.

Baja California is positioned as a world-class tourist destination, and its presence at WTM reaffirms its commitment to promoting its unique attractions, ranging from stunning natural landscapes to world-renowned cuisine.
