WOOSTER — Chillicothe senior Bella Flores finished her high school career by earning All-Ohio status at the Division I state tennis tournament this past week.
Flores won her first match on Thursday in a 3-hour 15-minute three-set match 6-7, 6-3, 6-3 against Jillian To of Whitehouse Anthony Wayne. The win put her in the quarterfinals and qualified her for All-Ohio.

She then lost her second match in straight sets, 6-4, 6-3, against Anna Mancino of Rocky River Magnificat.
This season Flores was 25-2 overall. She was 18-0 in the regular season and was the sectional champion. Her high school career record ended with a perfect 32-0 in Frontier Athletic Conference play, never dropping a set. She also qualified for districts her final three seasons.
Flores hasn’t made a decision about where she is going to college yet, but she does plan on continuing to play tennis at the next level.
Addison Cassidy of Mason was the DI state champion.
