The Bengals called kicker Cade York up from the practice squad on a temporary basis for the last two games, but they’ll handle things differently in Week 16.
The team announced on Tuesday that they have signed York to the active roster. They had an open spot, so there was no corresponding move needed to sign York off the practice squad.
York was 3-of-3 on field goals and 7-of-8 on extra points in his first two games with Cincinnati. He also missed two field goals and made two extra points in one game for the Commanders in September.
York joined the Bengals after Evan McPherson went on injured reserve earlier this month.
The Bengals also signed linebacker Joe Giles-Harris and safety Jaylen Key to the practice squad.
