Best young left wingers in EA FC 25

EA Sports went solo last year, with EA FC 25 being the second iteration of their leading football game following the breaking of their relationship with FIFA.

The absence of FIFA licensing hasn’t deterred those most loyal to the franchise and there’s palpable excitement once more as we prepare for EA’s latest release at the end of September.

All the staple game modes have made a return and speculation has been rife over the past few weeks in regard to player ratings. EA, however, have finally turned rumoured ratings into confirmed ones and the sport’s premier young talent have been treated well with many receiving glamorous upgrades.

Tricksters and speedsters down the flanks will always excited and intrigue gamers. The art of beating your man and whipping a fierce cross in will never drift into antiquity, no matter how many ‘inverted’ wingers emerge.

So, without further ado, let’s take a look at some of the highest-rated Under-23 left-wingers in EA FC 25.

While we haven’t included those with left-wing as an alternate position, we have also listed those who are down as a left midfielder in EA FC 25.

Following a majestic summer in which he starred for Euro 2024 winners Spain and was desired by several of Europe’s elite, it’s no surprise Athletic Club’s Nico Williams is the highest-rated U23 left-winger in the game at 85. The 22-year-old started last EA FC 24 as a 79.

A disappointing 2023/24 campaign means Gabriel Martinelli has been downgraded to an 83, with the Brazilian joining Barcelona Feminino star Claudia Pina and Bayern Munich Frauen’s Klara Buhl in that club.

Manchester City new-boy Savinho and Anthony Gordon are the Premier League representatives with an 82 and both look like excellent starter options for users following the game’s release. Savinho, after starring for Girona last season, has already leapfrogged his new teammate, Jeremy Doku, on the ratings front. The Belgian has an 80-rated card, but his 92 pace will attract many.

Parisiens Bradley Barcola and Kessya Bussy will also start the game at 80.

Wolfsburg Frauen’s 81-rated Jule Brand and her 91-pace looks like an exciting card, with the similarly-rated Julie Dufour of Paris FC Feminin, Bussy’s teammate, boasting a better-rounded card.

Colombian hotshot Linda Caicedo is bound for a considerable upgrade on her 79 in the near future, as does Barcelona Feminin’s Salma Paralluelo (79), while Borussia Dortmund’s Karim Adeyemi also looks intent on breaking into the 80s given the start he’s made to the 2024/25 season.

Villarreal’s Alex Baena and Yeremy Pino are drastically different ‘wingers’ but both are rated 79 by EA, while Alejandro Garnacho’s breakout season in Manchester was not enough for him to earn an 80-rated card. Aston Villa‘s Jacob Ramsey is interestingly categorised as a left-winger in EA FC 25 but his 78-rated non-rare card doesn’t look particularly appealing for a supposed wide player.
