Blackpink To Reunite In 2025! YG Entertainment CONFIRMS Group Comeback And World Tour

Blackpink will be making a comeback in 2025! YG Entertainment has once again reassured fans that the girl group will be releasing new music in the upcoming music.

Blackpink confirmed to make a comeback in 2025

On September 23, YG Entertainment confirmed once again that Blackpink would making a group comeback in 2025. With this, Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé and Lisa will be making a group comeback after three years. The girl group’s last comeback was in September 2022, with their second studio album Born Pink. Additionally, the girl group will be also be kicking off their third world tour next year.

Prior to this, YG Entertainment’s founder Yang Hyun-suk has spilled the beans about Blackpink’s eagerly-awaited comeback. “There will be a highly-anticipated comeback from Blackpink and it will also be the year Blackpink starts their world tour,” Yang Hyun-suk had shared while revealing what each YG Entertainment artist would be up to in 2025.

On the work front

In December 2023, YG Entertainment revealed that all four members of Blackpink had decided not to renew their individual contracts with the label. While Jennie, Lisa and Jisoo launched solo labels, Rosé is currently being managed by YG Entertainment’s associate company THE BLACK LABEL.

All four members have been busy with solo activities this year. Jennie released two collab songs, while Jisoo has been filming her acting projects. Lisa made a comeback to the music scene with ROCKSTAR, following which she released New Woman with Rosalia. As for Rosé, the singer is seemingly working on her solo album.

Just a couple of months back, Blackpink had reunited for their 8th debut anniversary celebrations. The group held a fansign event on August 8, followed by a special screening of their concert film Blackpink World Tour BORN PINK in Cinemas on August 9.
