Fall is far and away my favorite season, with one glaring exception: I absolutely abhor raking leaves. “Chris, why rake when you can just use a blower?” Well, my answer is that many high-powered models out there are pricey, and when you add in the cost of the batteries? Forget about it. Thatβs where this handy tool comes in to save the day. For just $81, you get a cordless, electric powerhouse and two rechargeable batteries. Yes, please. I’ll take two.
Leaf blowers make raking a thing of the past, but many models are heavy, require you to drag around inconvenient power cords or blow off noxious exhaust. This one offers a lightweight, clean-running, cordless alternative that makes tackling a debris-covered deck or yard a breeze. It weighs just 4 pounds and blows air at around 150 mph. (For reference, a much higher-priced Black + Decker model hits only 130 mph.)
Why is this a good deal? π°
Like I mentioned above, two batteries and a high-powered leaf blower for under $200 is a good deal. For under $100? Unheard of.
Why do I need this? π€
I’ve yet to meet a homeowner that doesn’t need a game-changing cleanup tool like this. Even if you don’t have leaves, cleaning up grass clippings after a mow or blowing dirt, dust and other debris from your porch, deck or sidewalk is a job easily done with this gusting gadget.
One of my pet-peeves about weaker blowers is that so many are too weak to easily clear leaves that are tangeld in grass. With a top output of 150 miles per hour from this beast, however, no leaf is safe. And while this powerful garden tool won’t bag the leaves for you, it makes quick, easy work of what was once a backbreaking task.
The Leapul keeps going strong for up to 20 minutes on a single charge (thanks to its two 10-minute batteries). And about those charges: No long waits here β these power packs juice up in just an hour, so youβre back in action in no time.
What reviewers say π¬
This compact powerhouse has nearly 1,200 five-star ratings on Amazon and with more than 10,000 of these sold in the past month, that number is sure to grow.
Pros π
“This leaf blower has been a game changer for yard clean-up!” said one five-star fan. “Itβs lightweight, which makes it super easy to handle, but donβt let that fool you β it’s powerful enough to get the job done. I’ve used it on leaves, grass clippings, and even some light debris, and it works like a charm every time. The battery lasts longer than I expected, and it charges quickly too. If you’re looking for a solid, reliable blower that won’t wear you out while using it, I highly recommend this one!”
“I have been looking to purchase a cordless leaf blower for a while now, and boy I have found the right one,” noted a happy, five-star customer. “One of the standout features is its lightweight design, making it incredibly easy to use. It comes with two batteries and a charger, which is nice because you will always have a backup for those longer cleanups.”
“It blows up to 150mph and you can tell β it takes such a short period of time to do any area outside my house,” praised another five-star reviewer. “The chargers are super fast charging so you never have to wait long, who wouldnβt love that, and the batteries last for at least ten minutes [apiece]. … Did I mention that you can disassemble it and put it up for easier storage?”
Cons π
According to some reviewers, the Leapul isn’t as powerful compared to some higher-priced, corded leaf blowers. “My corded blower is quieter (relatively speaking) but it’s not cordless so this is handy for a quick cleanup,” mentioned a four-star reviewer. “I just swap the battery every time and do my thing. Would be great if it were a tad more powerful, but it’s lightweight and does the job.”
Another reviewer mentioned that it is lacking in some features of higher-priced yard tools. “It does not vacuum or mulch,” they mentioned, adding, “it is good for clearing off the drive, sidewalks, patio/deck, garage floor.”
Raking? So last season. This featherweight powerhouse ditches the cords and fumes and will breeze through projects with 150 mph gusts β leaving pricier blowers in the dust.
