Blue Jays girls’ golf finish in 6th at Turtle Mountain Invite

Aug. 29—DUNSEITH, N.D. — The Jamestown High School girls’ golf team finished in sixth at the Turtle Mountain Invite on Aug. 29, at the Garden Gate Golf Course.

The Blue Jays had a team score of 378 which was seven strokes behind Dickinson in fifth. The Blue Jays lowest scoring golfer was Mylee Michel who had an 89.

The team event was won by St. Mary’s with a team score of 342. The individual event was by St Mary’s Abi Schneider who shot an 83, one stroke ahead of three golfers who finished in a tie for 84th.

The Blue Jays return to the course at noon on Friday, Sept. 13 when they go to the the Minot Invitational.
