Boiler Alert – Can Purdue Men’s Basketball Turn it Around?

Date:

Things did not go well when Purdue traveled to Alabama over the weekend. I talk about what went wrong in this one, and I talk about my belief that Purdue can turn things around with Big Ten season just about 10 days away. Well, the return of Big Ten season. Looking at that Auburn game two of Purdue’s big three really struggled with Braden Smith and Fletcher Loyer combining for 6 turnovers and shooting just 25% from the floor. It’s hard for a team in Purdue’s position to recover from that. This game, like the game against Penn State saw Purdue chip away at the deficit once the game was far out of hand so the result ultimately looks better but for those of us who watched it, we know it was very very bad.

Then, I go through the new hires for the Purdue football staff and give you some brief info on each one. It looks to be a staff that is about 180 degrees different from the one that Ryan Walters previously assembled. That’s a good thing. Give us a listen and tell your friends!
