WASHINGTON COUNTY, Ga. (WGXA) — A bond hearing has been postponed for a Washington County woman who was arrested for theft after running what many called a fraudulent online business.

According to the Washington County Superior Court Clerk, Destiny Magoon remains in jail with no new date set for a bond hearing.
Magoon lived in Washington County where she ran her online business that many say was fraudulent. The alleged scam went so far that victims created a Facebook group to get to the bottom of it. These victims range from various states across the country including some globally in Australia.
Magoon operated on Facebook, marketing jewelry and other keepsake items to remember lost loved ones or celebrate the birth of a baby. People sent her cremated children’s ashes, hair, umbilical cords, breastmilk, and other momentous. However, after the items were sent victims say it became a long waiting game.
Washington County Sheriff Joel Cochran said there are more than 300 victims and officers have located hundreds of samples of evidence.
Magoon was arrested and charged with 12 counts of theft by deception.
