Amy Boulden has retired from professional golf.

The 31-year-old from Llandudno in Wales turned pro in 2013 and has played full time on the Ladies European Tour (LET) since then.

Boulden won her sole LET title at the 2020 VP Bank Swiss Ladies Open. She also won one LET Access Series title, taking the 2014 Association Suisse de Golf Ladies Open after a play-off victory.

Her best finish at a major was tied ninth at the 2015 Ricoh Women’s British Open at Turnberry.

“After 11 years of playing professionally on the Ladies European Tour, I have made the tough decision to step away from playing competitive golf,” Boulden said on social media.

“The journey, full of highs and lows, has been nothing short of incredible, and I look back full of gratitude for having the opportunity to play this sport all over the world and meet some amazing people along the way.

“I would also like to say thank you for all the support over the years – to my coaches, caddies, sponsors and family that have been there every step of the way.

“I now look forward with excitement to the next chapter of my life.”
