The Montreal Canadiens and Toronto Maple Leafs played in the NHL’s first game in 1917, and the two teams are about to play their 770th game together.

As the two most successful teams in league history with a combined 37 Stanley Cup titles, their overall matchup doesn’t favor either club, but the Canadiens are ahead 367-301-88-13.

Saturday night marks the first time the Original Six teams will meet since Montreal won 1-0 on Opening Night in October. 9.
