Stopped 10 shots to earn the shutout in Marlborough’s 1-0 win over Leominster.
Sean Finnegan, Hopkinton cross country
The junior ran 15:54 to win the Hillers’ dual meet with Ashland. His time at Hopkinton State Park was 44 seconds faster than his previous time on the 2.9-mile course just a week prior.
Connor Griffin, Blackstone Valley Tech golf
His 72 placed him second at the State Vocational Large championships at Acushnet River Valley Country Club as the Beavers won the title for the second consecutive year.
Colin Haynes, Hopedale
Shot a 36 to earn medalist honors for the Blue Raiders in a win over Uxbridge Thursday.
Charlie Leighton, Blackstone Valley Tech golf
The junior made a hole in one and shot a 2-under 34 at Highfields as the Beavers closed out a perfect Colonial Athletic League season with a win over Bay Path.
Zachary Ruthfield, Algonquin soccer
He scored the game’s only goal in the 20th minute in a 1-0 victory over St. John’s (Shrewsbury) on Saturday. Algonquin has won five of its last six matches.
Nate Taylor, Blackstone Valley Tech soccer
Made three saves in goal and added an assist in a 9-0 win over Parker on Tuesday.
